I (Meg) have a  few resolutions for our little organization, that I hope you’ll help us out with!

While not easy, mind you, an hour a day four days a week of conditioning, flexibility, drills, skills, and choreography, as you can imagine will be a challenge. But you can also picture how good you’ll look and feel!

Just think of how jealous they’ll be when you show up at Thanksgiving dinner feeling strong, sexy & confident!

We want to beta test this curriculum on a few select participants in the month of November. When it rolls out in January, it’ll be priced just like those other guys. But if you are selected to be our victim… er rather tester – You’ll get the whole shebang for less than $7 per class! Woot!

Eligible candidates will commit to being early for class 8-9 am M-Th, and will make ALL classes. (No class Thanksgiving Day) She should have an intense desire to learn, a fierceness to become more confident, and a willingness to love her body as it is and as it will become. Most of all, she must have a positive attitude, as negativity will NOT be tolerated. (Or refunded.)

We’ll be promoting and accepting applications over the next two weeks with the tribe being announced the last week in October.

Sure, you can buy a month of one American Tribal Fusion Belly Dance class for $40, or drop in for $15 per class, or you can get Unlimited EVERYTHING all ZUMBA fitness, all Belly Dance, all Stretch (16 classes total) and everything we add this month for only $60!

Sure you could drop in at $5-15 a pop. Or get a monthly deal of $40 for a month of one class, such as American Tribal Belly Dance for Beginner and Intermediate dancers. And it’s a great deal!

So many people, now a-days, have so much on their plate. They’re overwhelmed, overworked, over stressed, and over tired. You may even associate “too thin” with the word “stretched.” If this sounds like you, then we’re probably a lot alike.

Last year, I was so overwhelmed by grief over the loss of my dear Gramps, that I just didn’t feel “whole” enough to teach. Maybe you’ve been through something similar – a time where you just don’t feel quite like your usual self, maybe more like a shell of who you used to be.

Find something, anything, to help you get out of your rut. For me, it was dance, movement, stretching.

This year, I’m back to focusing on teaching: belly dance, stretching, meditation, creativity, blogging, social media, entrepreneurship. And through this, I hope to help many women and men of our community and the world at large tap into that sometimes quiet voice that whispers to us “there must be something more.”

Looking to add more classes to the summer roster.  And so, I want to know what YOU want, Racine & Kenosha!

I have spots open for Belly Dance Parties (Bachelorette, Birthday) hosted at your location or mine, schedule permitting.  I will also add “traveling roadshow classes” within a reasonable driving distance with enough demand.

This May session we’re working on a dark, sultry piece by Florence and the Machine.  I can’t wait to see it put all together so we can take a video.

Why are there no videos yet?  Well, I opted to not share the look-see in the first month as the women were growing accustomed to moving their body differently.  Now that we have some weeks and confidence under our belts, all bets are off!

That being said, we do welcome new students!  Either drop in for $15 or purchase the whole month for $40.

American Tribal Bellydance in Racine, WI.

This earthy, undulating style of belly dance has emerged on American soil as a fusion of tribal and folk elements from around the world.  Emphasizing musicality, originality, and creativity, American Tribal is a highly sought after style of dance internationally.

The demo class was a resounding success, and the American Tribal Fusion Intensive Course slated for April 5th-26 promises to be an impressive collective of students! Registration is open until 8PM April 5th. This is an intensive class with high emphasis on technique, recommended for students with drive and moderate physical ability. Students new to movement are encouraged to join the Saturday Bellydance for Absolute Beginners.

The mission of Center of Muse is to bring creative people with a craving to learn interesting things together with those able to teach and coach desired skills.

“What does belly dance have to do with Ireland?”, you might ask.

We aspire to teach you to move your body in different ways, so that you can interpret the music you like, and add your own cultural flavor to style your dancing.
